First up is Start Your Year Write on Thursday 7 January: This is a writing workshop to encourage you to explore how you want to focus your attention over the next year. It’s a one and a half hour session during which we share some reflective and creative writing exercises together with the hope of starting a new year with a clearer and more hopeful perspective. Come prepared to try something new and even start a personal practice of writing for wellbeing. The cost of this workshop is £20 and spaces are limited to 8 people.
I’m also running two Women’s online writing circles: These are an online space to come together as women over the course of six fortnightly sessions to see, hear, and support each other as we explore expressive and creative writing together. The aim is to experience writing as a wellbeing enhancing activity and to explore ourselves through sharing our writing together. It is not a therapy group and you don’t need any previous writing experience. You will try some guided writing exercises and have the opportunity to share in a small and confidential group of other women (limited to six). I’m running one on a Thursday evening at 7:00 to 8:30 PM which is £75 for six sessions and starts on 14 January 2021. The other will run on a Friday afternoon from 1 to 2:30 PM and starts on 15 January and costs £60 for the six sessions.
