Women’s writing circle from January 2022

New evening sessions starting Thursday January 20th

The women’s writing circle is a place where we explore writing as a wellbeing-enhancing activity in the company of other women. We meet fortnightly for during school term time three or four times a year and connect as women as we engage in self-exploration through creative and expressive writing in a variety of forms and from a variety of prompts. Alongside the writing, there is an opportunity to share what we have written or talk about the themes that emerge. It is not a therapeutic group nor is any previous writing experience necessary. All you need is the ability to access the circle by zoom, a pen and a notebook.

Over the last 22 months it has been a place of invaluable connection through lockdowns and life’s other ups and downs. It has been an incredibly moving experience at times as we have gathered together in small circles of women to write and talk together.

If you decide you would like to join us, you can expect to try some guided writing exercises and have the opportunity to share what you write in a small group of other women that you will get to know over the time we share together. You can sign up for a course of five sessions at a time for £75, payable when you book your place. Spaces in both  circles are limited to between four and six women only to allow us to get to know each other and share our writing in a contained space.
