Key Life Therapy counselling and writing for wellbeing

Hi, I’m Rachel Hawkins-Crockford, a counsellor and writing for well being practitioner based in Westbury-On-Trym, Bristol and this is my site Key Life Therapy, named because I believe that within each of us we hold the key to living a fulfilling and meaningful life on our own terms and my role is to support clients to unlock that within themselves.   I work hard to provide a place where you can find a safe space to explore your problems, manage life transitions and significant changes, enhance your understanding of yourself and make positive changes.

My own journey into becoming a counsellor and writing for wellbeing practitioner came after a corporate career and a move from New Zealand to the UK.  Like many who retrain as counsellors or health practitioners, I became a counsellor because I had experienced the benefits of it myself. Writing was something I had done for myself for many years, using it to bring me back to a calm place when life felt overwhelming.  Counselling was something I tried when I realised I couldn’t do it all by myself. Now I’m passionate about finding ways to support others using these skills.
